Splish. Splash. Splosh.
Rainy days need not be gloomy. Throw on your raincoat, Wellington boots and grab an umbrella. Splashing in puddles can be an invigorating and fun way to ride out the storm. Just be ready with a hot cup of tea and some warm dry clothes to change into afterwards! That’s how I grew up in Manchester, where “drizzle” was invented, I think.
Nor’Easter is a term used in North America to describe a storm or wind blowing from the North East. We get plenty here in Nova Scotia, so it seemed a good a name as any to describe this blustery but fun collection full of rainy blues, stormy greys and pops of rubber boot red and Sou’wester yellow.
